So I was encouraged to try. I want to buy myself a christmas present so I decided to bid on a Nokia C3. I bid for two(2), the original plan was one for myself and the other one as a gift. However, due to time (& budget) constraint, I thought of just buying one.
This will be my first purchase so I need to be very careful (& I can't hide teh fact that I'm excited as well). First I checked the feedback..there are 2 positive feedback for the seller and no negative feedback. She also posted that I can pay thru Paypal or Gcash. So I thought, I think this is legitimate.
Then I received a mail that I won the bidding and there was a payment instruction. I asked her about the Paypal account because I wanted to pay thru paypal..the seller "reallynicebuy" told me that they temporarily suspend their Paypal account because they were charged with some transactions they never made. So I should pay thru G-Cash instead.
She gave her mobile #, which is also her Gcash acct and she keeps asking what's my deliver address so she can immediately ship that day so I can receive max. 2 days. To make the long story short, I paid thru G-cash and immediately after that I cannot contact her anymore. Package was not delivered and the # given me cannot be reached anymore.. NO EMAIL, NO SMS and the line can no longer be reached.
I was on an out of town vacation during the holidays so I have no internet access. I was only hoping when I get back to Manila I can fix everything. When I went to Globe Center they told me that they can only block the Sim card that was used but there's nothing they can do to apprehend the person or retrieve the money.

Well, I guess the only thing I can do now is wait for Ebay's feedback and just pray for these scammers. But for now, I just have to get over the fact that my hard earned Php4.630.00 is already gone...:(
