Farewell President Corazon Aquino

Maria Corazon "Cory" Cojuangco Aquino (January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009) was the 11th president of the Philippines. I have vague memories of the EDSA Revolution but learning everything she has done for the country made me a believer that she truly is an epitome of a filipina woman. She is a true advocate of peace, democracy, women empowerment and a leader who is true to her word. May she be a reminder to our leaders of today that they are in the position now to Serve the Filipino people and not to gain for their own interest.
