“I was anchored, built through you..I learned a love not of this world”

It’s an excerpt from Firefalldown’s DEAR MOM AND DAD. I wish I could have written a letter like this to my mom while she was alive.

When I was still on my teenage years, my mom used to tell me..”Once you become a parent..you’ll understand why I’m doing all this”. Even if I nod and say, of course I understand. It doesn’t really register on my mind. I feel that I know what I’m doing and I’m in control. When my mom died of cancer last 2006 I realized that I should have spent more time with her than my friends. I could have given her a more comfortable life. There are lots of would haves and could haves running on my mind. It may sound ironic but I guess you will recognize the importance of a person when you lost him/her.

“Dear mom and dad I wanna give back”.

I may not be the best daughter but I’m trying my best to give back the love I learned from them.. the love not of this world..

As much as I can I try to spend time with my Dad and give him the love and attention that he deserves.

Now, I’m already a mother. I might utter exact same phrases that my mom used to tell me. I will share the love that I wasn’t able to express to them. I will shower my daughter with the love that my parents gave me. Dear mom and dad I love you and I always will.

Girls Bonding at Sonya's Garden

Sorry for my long absence. Blame it on the weather.. it makes me sleepy and a bit lazy. :)

Anyway, I just wish to share the bonding time I had with my officemates last May 30 at Tagaytay.

We arrived at Sonya’s Garden around 10:00am.

We waited at the room near the entrance of the Spa and had our very own “Spa party’.

The Dalandan juice and panaderia goodies are amazing.. it’s really mouthwatering.

The rooms are clean and we really enjoyed the serene ambiance

Despite the heavy rain, it didn’t stop the girls in taking pictures and have an unlimited “kulitan” moment.

Our group availed of the Lilac package. It’s a 2 ½ pampering session that includes Full body scrub with crème bath, full body massage, facial and hair spa.

Afterwards, we had a footspa with reflex/pedicure while enjoying a soothing basil tea.

Then we had lunch at Pamana Restaurant. Food is great. I can't even remember my name anymore after eating (well, that's a bit exaggerated) but seriously after eating I'm not in the mood to roam around anymore I just want to take a nap. :)

Hopefully, next time the Sun will shine and cooperate. hehehe.
